Last updated: April 5, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the AIPMO websites at aipmo.co and app.aipmo.co, and all related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by AIPMO ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

AIPMO provides educational content, tools, and resources at the intersection of AI governance and project management. Our Service includes:

2. Eligibility and Accounts

To access certain features, you must create a membership account by providing your name and email address. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through Account Settings at app.aipmo.co/account. Account deletion is self-service, immediate, and permanent. 4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. AI-Generated Content

The AIPMO Advisor and Document Customizer

The AIPMO Advisor uses Anthropic's Claude API and a retrieval system grounded in published governance frameworks to provide AI-powered guidance. The Document Customizer uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate customized AI governance documents based on information you provide. You understand and agree that:

Aidan — AI Site Assistant

Aidan is a separate AI system designed exclusively to answer questions about AIPMO's platform, features, plans, and usage. Aidan does not provide AI governance framework guidance. Aidan identifies itself as an AI assistant when asked. Aidan conversations are not stored on AIPMO's servers — session history is stored in your browser only.

User-Uploaded Documents

Professional and Consultant members may upload reference documents to projects. Uploaded documents are processed as follows: text is extracted, the first portion is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for document classification, and the full text is chunked and sent to OpenAI's embedding API to generate search embeddings stored in our database. By uploading a document, you represent that you have the right to share it for this purpose and that doing so does not violate any confidentiality obligation or third-party rights.

Ownership of Generated Content

You retain full ownership of all documents generated through the AIPMO Advisor and Document Customizer using your organizational inputs. AIPMO does not use your generated documents for any purpose other than delivering the Service to you, except as follows: when you voluntarily submit feedback on a generated document with a written comment, that feedback signal and the associated document context may be used to improve document generation quality for that document type. You may submit a rating without a comment if you prefer not to share additional context.

For Consultant members, documents generated for client organizations are owned by the Consultant member's account. It is the Consultant member's responsibility to manage the distribution and use of generated documents with their clients.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content published on aipmo.co — including articles, guides, frameworks, templates, graphics, logos, and the AIPMO brand — is owned by AIPMO and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission, except as permitted under fair use.

Third-Party Frameworks

Our content references and builds upon established third-party frameworks and standards, including but not limited to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO 42001, the EU AI Act, PMBOK Guide, and Agile Practice Guide. These frameworks are the intellectual property of their respective owners. AIPMO's content provides educational interpretation and practical application guidance and does not claim ownership of these frameworks.

Your Content

By providing information through the Service (such as organization details for document generation), you grant us a limited license to process that information solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you. By uploading documents to projects, you grant us a limited license to extract, classify, and embed that content for the purpose of improving retrieval relevance within your account. We do not claim ownership of your inputs, uploaded documents, or the customized outputs generated for you.

7. Consultant Tier — Client Data Responsibilities

If you are a Consultant member managing multiple client organizations through the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

8. Newsletter

By subscribing to "The AI Governance Brief," you consent to receive periodic emails from us containing AI governance insights, platform updates, and related content. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIPMO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AIPMO and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party. For Consultant members, this indemnification extends to claims arising from your use of the Service on behalf of or in connection with your client organizations.

12. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify paid members of significant changes that affect their subscription.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes affecting paid members, we may also provide notice by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and AI Transparency page, constitute the entire agreement between you and AIPMO regarding your use of the Service.
