Where to start
You've got access to the full platform now. Here's the recommended path to get real value from it quickly.
Step 1: Set up your organization profile. Select Advisor from the menu bar to begin the onboarding wizard. You'll answer a few questions about your organization — industry, size, existing governance practices, and available PM support. Based on your answers, AIPMO automatically assesses your governance maturity level (Greenfield, Emerging, or Established). This profile shapes everything downstream, so take a few minutes to answer thoughtfully. You can always edit it later.
Step 2: Create your first project. Think of a specific AI initiative you're working on or planning — a chatbot, a predictive model, an automation tool. Create a project for it and answer the setup questions about the AI system type, risk level, data sensitivity, and your PM methodology. The more context you provide, the more targeted your governance guidance becomes.
Step 3: Review your governance playbook. Once your project is set up, AIPMO generates a governance playbook — a prioritized roadmap of the documents you need for this specific project, given your organization's maturity level. Essential documents are highlighted and sequenced in a recommended order. Think of this as your governance project plan. You can share it with stakeholders to align on what's needed before you start producing deliverables.
Step 4: Generate your first document. Pick a document from your playbook — start with whichever is marked as the highest priority. AIPMO's AI generates a full draft customized to your organization's context, your project's specifics, and your maturity level. Review it, make edits, and download the finished document. Then move on to the next one in your playbook.
Step 5: Use the Advisor as you go. The AI Governance Advisor is available anytime with unlimited access. Use it to ask follow-up questions as you work through your playbook — clarify a framework requirement, get advice on how to handle a tricky governance scenario, or ask what to prioritize when time is short. The Advisor knows your organization and project context, so its answers are specific to your situation.
